In this episode, we explore the question: Are there areas of your business where you're making things harder for yourself than they really need to be?
And I share some personal experiences and examples from my own business, highlighting the importance of taking action and avoiding over complicating things.
Key points in this episode:
Do you find yourself making things harder than they need to be?
I know I sure do... a lot! I get this great idea, I start planning, and then all of a sudden it's grown arms and legs, and become this big thing!
And it can show up in all areas of our businesses - marketing, social media, systems and tech, creating new offers, launching....
Rather than trying to have it all figured out at the start, I strongly believe in taking imperfect action. Starting with small steps in the right direction, aligned with my end goal, allows for learning and growth. But you have to be willing to suck at something new and let yourself learn along the way.
Reflecting on my own business journey, I've seen my course on cycle-aligned business evolve significantly. It started as a basic course on understanding and applying cycle syncing to business planning, but it has transformed through ongoing learning, feedback, and experience. But if I waited to have it all figured out, it would have never gotten to evolve into what it is now.
You don't need to have it all figured out from the beginning. Your business will evolve, and so will your offerings. It's perfectly okay to start with a loose plan and adapt as you gain more knowledge and insights along the way.
If you're feeling like things are hard or overwhelming, ask yourself 'how can this be easier'? And let it!
If you're craving a more sustainable business, with more balance between structure and flow, I invite you to check out my 1:1 mentoring program.
